“Hi Everyone! I’m Carson, the founder of Casey Marketing. I provide part-time marketing leadership to growth-stage technology companies in the climate-tech sector and LOVE problem solving. I wanted to share a little bit about where my passion for energy and the environment was sparked. When I was 15 I found a (keyless) electric scooter at a local yard sale and decided that would be a good investment…Because I had no way of turning the scooter on, I decided I would transform it into a solar powered electric scooter. I spent countless hours wiring and testing it, I ultimately got it to turn on and it was so satisfying, though transparently the final setup was extremely clunky and not truly rideable. BUT - that project cemented my passion for energy and I have dedicated my career to working with companies that are developing groundbreaking solutions to combat climate change and supporting our clean energy future.
Why Maine?
Maine has a very special place in my heart. I grew up in Vermont but was lucky enough to spend many summers exploring the beaches as a kid. 6+ years ago I was living in Boston and finding myself hopping on the Downeaster to get to Maine every weekend to escape the city. At that point I decided I should probably make it official! I love the pace of life here, ease of access to all of the outdoor activities I enjoy and most of all the strong sense of community. To be a Mainer is a badge of honor! (if you were born in Maine, can you let me know if I’ll ever get my badge thx)
Away from Keyboard
When I’m not busy with work, you’ll likely find me enjoying the outdoors soaking in the beauty of Maine. I love mountain biking, running, kitesurfing and recently pickle-balling! My husband Nick and I currently live in South Portland but will be transplanting to Rockport next month! So I’ll also be spending a lot of time picking up boxes and putting them down.
Let’s Talk!
I genuinely love problem-solving and thrive on collaborating with passionate teams. My goal is to help businesses create authentic brands, scale effectively, and implement go-to-market strategies that resonate. I’ve met so many brilliant people through Nexus, and I want to meet the rest of you!
